Connecting your Meta account
Nth Audit uses Facebook Login to read your ad account. Access is read-only, you choose what we can see, and you can revoke it at any time.
How it works
- Sign in to Nth Audit and choose Connect Meta.
- Log in on Facebook and approve the permissions below. You can decline any of them.
- Pick which ad accounts Nth Audit may read.
- Set your goal and run your first audit.
Permissions we request
| Permission | What we use it for |
|---|---|
| ads_read | Read your campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives and performance insights (spend, results, CTR, breakdowns by age, gender, placement). This is the core of every audit. |
| business_management | Reach ad accounts and Pages that are owned by a Business Manager rather than by you personally. |
| pages_show_list | List the Pages you manage, so we can match ads to the Page and Instagram account that publishes them. |
| pages_read_engagement | Read Page-owned creative and video fields, so we can show ad thumbnails and video in your report. |
We do not request permission to create, edit, pause or delete ads, and we cannot spend money on your behalf.
What we do with the data
- Used only to build your audit reports.
- Never sold, and never used for advertising or profiling.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted.
Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
- In Nth Audit: Settings → Disconnect.
- On Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → Nth Audit → Remove.
To delete your stored data as well, see Data deletion.
Trouble connecting?
Make sure you log in with the Facebook profile that has access to the ad account, and that you approved the ads permission. More fixes are in the Help centre.
